This Summer...

This summer I plan to work somewhere I'm not sure where yet but somewhere. I plan to spend time with friends and babysit a little bit before I go to college. I plan to spend a bunch of time swimming in my pool and relaxing in my back yard. Also I plan to take some trips with my family and go visit family members in Massachusetts.

Technology

How does technology affect me and how does it affect our culture?

Technology has affected me because now I do not need to be home to connect with people. I can send someone a text message to let them know what is going on or call them from my cell phone. When I need to update my mom on where I am and how long I want to stay out and such I can just send her a text message. It makes my life easier because I do not need to be face to face or at my house to talk to people.

Technology has affected our society because almost everyone I know has a cell phone. Everyone uses one whether it is to text or to make a phone call or to go online. It keeps us connected and being connected is extremely important now a days. Also it has affected our society because it makes reporting emergencies easier because you can just call 9-1-1 on your cell phone to get medical help or fire help you do not need to find a house with a land line unless you do not have service!

Book Talk

The memoir I am reading is Stolen Innocence by Erin Merryn.

This book is about a girl who is seven years old and her cousin starts sexually assaulting her. She discusses the assaults but also her everyday life. She shares intimate details of her life and the assaults. She decided that she is going to advocate for all the young people who have faced assaults or other traumas.

I love this book. It is an overview of her life from the time she was seven until her adulthood. She talks about everything and I love it, it is just a diary. This is one of the best memoirs i have read!

What have you learned from major obsticals in your life?

My greatest accomplishment...

My greatest accomplishment is receiving my Early Childhood Education cord which will happen on May 27th. Receiving this cord will mean that I have completed two years of this class and I am partially certified as an Early Childhood Education teacher. I get to wear this cord at graduation. This will also help me when I get to college and help me pursue my career in the future

My favorite high school memories...

Favorite Place

My favorite place in the North Country is Kathy's house, because when I am there I am with her children and we go on adventures. The landscape of her house is beautiful, it is surrounded by trees and water. It gives me a feeling of tranquility. Her children have their own play area and they can go wherever they want. We have explored the woods walked around on the road and played in the water. Her house is small but beautiful and so simple. Being at their house makes me feel all warm and cozy. That is my favorite place in the North Country

What You Don't Know About Me...

My name is Brianna, I'm 17 years old and a senior at Profile Senior High School. I live in Bethlehem in the same house I have been in since I was born. I am currently extremely excited because in nine days I will be on my way to France!!!! This coming fall I will be going to Lyndon State University majoring in Early Childhood Education. Most of the time you will find me either at school or working with children. On weekends I either hang with friends or spending some time relaxing after a busy week. My birthday is in the summer so that is obviously my favorite season! Well that is everything you should know about me! :D

What is your favorite vacation memory??
